Cannes, France – Rapper Travis Scott and Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards were reportedly involved in a physical altercation at Richie Akiva’s renowned ‘The After’ party during the Cannes Film Festival.
Sources revealed to The New York Post’s Page Six that the clash occurred near the DJ booth, where Travis, 33, and his friend Southside confronted AE, who is closely associated with Tyga, Kylie Jenner’s ex. Jenner shares children with Travis Scott, which added a layer of tension to the incident.
An insider detailed the chaotic scene, noting, “Models were flying everywhere in the melee. Someone got hit with an ice bucket.” Another source mentioned that Travis seemed upset when Akiva gave a shoutout to Tyga and AE, saying, “We got T-Raww and AE” on the microphone. However, the insider clarified that the history with Kylie Jenner wasn’t necessarily the cause of the fight.

Despite the scuffle, Tyga managed to steer clear of the brawl. The altercation reportedly did not result in any serious injuries, and the party continued until around 9 a.m., although it was winding down during the incident.
Richie Akiva, the host of the party, did not comment directly on the fight but spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the event’s future. Reflecting on the origins of ‘The After,’ Akiva shared, “Our first party in Cannes was in 2013 or 2014. It started out a little bit smaller and exclusive, and it’s going to go back to that next year.”
He expressed pride in the event, noting its growth over the years but acknowledged the need for changes. “It started organic and small and grew as friends wanted to get involved. But now there are too many chefs in the kitchen. I need to bring the soul back into the event by changing the house so people won’t know where the event is.”
Akiva plans to make future gatherings more intimate and secure, aiming to maintain exclusivity and control. “When it’s smaller, you can keep things tight and keep people accountable,” he concluded.
