Former President Donald Trump voiced his frustration on Truth Social over a recent report indicating that President Joe Biden won’t face charges related to a probe into classified documents. Trump, criticizing bias and corruption, expressed disbelief in a post on Friday.
Trump’s post on Truth Social read, Wow! fake news CNN, through a leak from the department of injustice, has just reported that no charges will be filed in the (much bigger than mine!!!) crooked Joe Biden documents case. We are living in a very corrupt country!
He continued with additional posts, emphasizing Selective Prosecution! and pointing to Prosecutorial Misconduct!
CNN’s report highlighted that the Department of Justice special counsel Robert Hur’s office is unlikely to pursue charges against Biden for mishandling classified documents during his vice-presidential tenure. The review, expected to conclude by year-end, will not likely result in charge referrals.
The files in question were reportedly found at Biden’s Delaware residence and his office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C. The Wall Street Journal’s earlier report also suggested charges against Biden were improbable, citing anonymous sources.
This development contrasts with Trump’s recent indictment for allegedly mishandling classified files at his Mar-a-Lago residence in South Florida. Both cases, unfolding against a backdrop of heightened political tensions, remain under close scrutiny.
