A recent courtroom appearance, Donald Trump Jr. slammed the New York Attorney General, Letitia James, labeling the case against the Trump Organization as absurd. Outside the courthouse, Trump expressed his belief that the case is a politically motivated witch hunt, insisting that he and his brother had no involvement in the financial matters under scrutiny.

Former President Trump joined in, criticizing James for what he perceives as an overly aggressive approach that could harm businesses in New York. He voiced concerns about the precedent set by the case, fearing it may create challenges for businesses operating in the city.

Trump went on to claim that the Democratic Party in New York is fostering an anti-business environment, suggesting that many in the banking and real estate sectors share these concerns but may be hesitant to speak out. He expressed dismay at the current state of affairs and hinted that the people might one day be begging for guys like Donald Trump to come back to New York City.

Adding to the criticism, attorney Alina Habba, in an interview with Breitbart News, accused AG James of misplaced priorities. Habba expressed concern that while New York City faces serious challenges like rising crime rates and illegal immigration, James focuses on a civil fraud trial against Trump.

According to Habba, James appears only on high-profile days, neglecting the daily issues the city grapples with. The attorney argued that the AG’s priorities should align with the well-being of the city rather than pursuing a self-interested mission.

The lawsuit filed by James alleges that Trump overvalued his properties to secure more favorable loan terms. The AG seeks a $250 million fine and aims to prevent Trump from conducting business in the state. Despite the judge determining fraudulent behavior on Trump’s part, he maintains that the financial documents were standard and caused no harm to the banks involved.

As the legal battle continues, the clash between Trump and AG James intensifies, with Trump predicting that the people of New York City will eventually yearn for his return to reshape the skyline, as he claims to have done for decades.
