A recent interview on Real America’s Voice, Jesse Binnall, an attorney representing Donald Trump, raised eyebrows by cautioning Colorado State Supreme Court justices about possible federal prosecutions in the future. Binnall criticized the court’s decision to bar Trump from the state’s primary ballot, citing the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
Speaking passionately, Binnall suggested that a real Department of Justice could take action against the Colorado justices and other judges if Trump were to win the 2024 election. He highlighted existing federal statutes related to civil rights violations and the color of law, emphasizing the importance of holding individuals accountable for decisions that, in his view, undermine the justice system.
According to Binnall, these justices should face consequences for their choices, which he believes sacrifice the rule of law that has defined the country, in favor of politically motivated decisions. He stressed the need for accountability and hinted at potential future legal actions should circumstances change.
