Newly Released Documents Point to Joe Biden as ‘The Big Guy’ in Hunter Biden Investigation

Newly disclosed documents from the House Ways and Means Committee shed light on a significant development in the Hunter Biden investigation, suggesting that President Joe Biden may indeed be the mysterious figure referred to as ‘The Big Guy’ in his son’s emails with business associates. CBS News’ Catherine Herridge recently examined these documents in a video posted on social media.

According to Herridge, the House Ways and Means Committee, led by Republicans, has made available hundreds of new documents related to the Hunter Biden investigation. Two key exhibits, 202 and 203, were highlighted. Exhibit 202 comprises an email sent in August 2020 by prosecutor Leslie Wolf to senior FBI and IRS investigators who were drafting a search warrant. In this email, Wolf advised narrowing the scope of the warrant to focus on potential violations of foreign lobbying laws or the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and removing references to ‘political figure one.’ Exhibit 203, though heavily redacted, is the draft warrant itself, where ‘political figure one’ is identified as former Vice President Joe Biden.

This revelation connects the dots between Hunter Biden’s email discussions with business partners and the identity of ‘The Big Guy,’ a term that has raised questions since it first came to light. The significance of this identification extends beyond the email exchanges.

In a separate report, it was revealed that Frank Biden, the president’s brother, also used the term ‘the Big Guy’ when working for an industrial manufacturing company called Federal Signal Corporation. Frank Biden’s connection to the nickname suggests that it was not limited to Hunter’s dealings with business associates. He often mentioned receiving calls from ‘the Big Guy’ during work meetings, drawing attention to his brother, then Vice President Joe Biden.

These developments have fueled the ongoing impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, which commenced last week. During the first day of proceedings, Republicans disputed Democratic claims that there was insufficient evidence of the president’s involvement in any wrongdoing. On social media, some individuals circulated misleading videos in an attempt to undermine the credibility of Republican witnesses who contradicted the narrative that there was no basis for impeachment.

The unveiling of these documents raises questions about the nature of Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s business dealings, and it will be interesting to observe how these latest revelations are interpreted and discussed in the coming days.
