Aoki Lee Simmons, daughter of Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons, is calling for love and respect for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children as their father faces serious legal challenges. Understanding the weight of public scrutiny due to her own famous family, Aoki took to Instagram Live to express her concern for the Combs siblings.
During the live session, when asked about her thoughts on Diddy’s ongoing case, Simmons praised the Combs children, stating, “I think his daughters and children are such wonderful people. I really hope you guys treat them with love and respect, ‘cuz they’re nice kids.”
Simmons went on to highlight that children should not be judged or blamed for the actions of their parents, reminding everyone, “It’s not their fault. Anything adults do, that’s adult business, and they are not adults.” Referring to Diddy’s children as “My little cousins,” she emphasized, “They are in school. They are not adults, so please treat them like children. That’s all I ask.”
Diddy’s children, including Quincy Brown (33), Justin Combs (30), Christian Combs (26), Chance Combs (18), and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs (17), were recently seen attending their father’s court appearance alongside their grandmother, Janice Combs. The family has shown unity and support throughout Diddy’s ongoing legal battles.
Despite his current legal challenges, Diddy took a moment earlier this week to wish his daughter a happy birthday on social media. It was his first public post since his September 2024 arrest, writing, “Happy Birthday to you!” along with several heartfelt photos.
As Diddy remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, his trial is expected to begin in May 2025. The Combs family, though under the intense public eye, continues to stand together, and Aoki Lee Simmons’ message serves as a reminder that the children deserve respect and understanding during this difficult time.
