Renowned attorney Alina Habba, part of Donald Trump’s legal team, is facing serious allegations of grooming a former employee from Trump National Golf Club. The accusations stem from the employee’s reported sëxual harassment by a supervisor at the Bedminster, New Jersey club.
Alice Bianco, the ex-employee, has filed a lawsuit against the golf club, claiming she endured sëxual harassment and was coerced into signing a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) by a firm linked to a club member. The suit does not name Trump or the accused supervisor as defendants but implicates Habba, alleging she manipulated Bianco into signing the NDA after portraying herself as a friend who was aware of the harassment.
Habba, a key member of Trump’s post-office legal team, has been involved in various cases, including a civil fraud suit and litigation against Hillary Clinton and other Justice Department and FBI officials.
In a separate Florida lawsuit dismissed as completely frivolous, Habba and Trump were directed to pay nearly $1 million in sanctions. Newsweek’s attempts to reach Habba for comment have been unsuccessful.
Bianco claims ignorance of Habba’s role until weeks after signing the NDA, despite encountering her with Trump and receiving her services. Allegations suggest that the accused supervisor pressured her into sëxual activities for job security.
After the supervisor’s behavior was reported, Bianco was contacted by human resources. The lawsuit contends that Habba then approached Bianco, posing as a friend, and offered assistance. Habba allegedly sent supportive text messages, shared negative posts about the supervisor, and urged Bianco to disregard her lawyer’s attempts to contact her, eroding trust between Bianco and her legal representation.
The lawsuit details Habba’s purported efforts to maintain a friendship, claiming she falsely assured tax-free status for the NDA and coverage for therapy under the settlement. However, the suit argues that these claims were untrue, and NDAs have been banned in New Jersey for workplace harassment cases since 2019.
The legal complaint suggests that, acting on behalf of the defendant and Donald Trump, Habba pressured the unrepresented plaintiff to sign an agreement with a meager payment and an illegal NDA, insisting on immediate compliance.
