Concerns are growing within Donald Trump’s inner circle after a new report suggested the former president has been canceling interviews due to exhaustion. A former associate of Trump, who has known him since his Manhattan real estate days, voiced alarm on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” signaling that something might be wrong with the Republican frontrunner.

According to Politico Playbook, Trump’s team recently informed the hosts of The Shade Room podcast that Trump would not be participating in an interview due to being “exhausted.” The campaign reportedly offered Trump supporter and rapper Waka Flocka Flame as a substitute guest. However, the Trump campaign has since denied the exhaustion claim, though multiple sources continue to assert that fatigue was the reason behind the cancellations.

Donnie Deutsch, a branding expert and longtime acquaintance of Trump, weighed in on the matter during his MSNBC appearance, stating that the news is troubling for Trump’s 2024 campaign. He noted, “People should focus on his state of strength, state of weakness, state of well-being, or non-well-being.” Deutsch emphasized that Trump’s pattern of pulling back from media and public appearances could be a sign of something more significant. “Something is off,” he commented, raising concerns that the former president, who thrives on large crowds and constant media attention, may be experiencing difficulties behind the scenes.

The issue of Trump’s well-being has emerged as an important factor as the 2024 presidential race intensifies. With a history of tireless campaigning and a deep connection to his voter base, the recent news of his exhaustion comes as a surprise, sparking questions about his ability to maintain his demanding schedule moving forward.

What’s Next for Trump’s Campaign?

As Trump’s team continues to push back on the reports of exhaustion, political observers will be keeping a close watch on his public appearances and media engagements in the weeks ahead. If Trump’s energy levels remain a topic of discussion, it could affect voter perception, particularly as both his supporters and opponents scrutinize his health and stamina leading up to 2024.
