The crash occurred at the intersection of Murchison Road and Harbour Road shortly after 5 p.m. Eyewitnesses reported that a Nissan pick-up truck, traveling westbound on Murchison Road, veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Mercedes traveling eastbound.
Fatal Accident in Kaufman County Multiple People Dead
The devastating collision claimed the lives of three individuals. Stephen May, 38, the driver of the Nissan, was pronounced dead at the scene, along with two passengers in the Mercedes identified as Martell Jones, 52, and Timothy Bradshaw, 64. The emergency responders’ efforts to save their lives unfortunately proved unsuccessful.
The driver of the Nissan was immediately rushed to Cape Fear Valley Hospital, where they are currently listed in critical condition. Authorities are closely monitoring their condition and providing necessary medical care.
