Move that’s sending shockwaves through the energy industry, President Trump has officially invited the original Keystone XL Pipeline developers to return and finish the massive project—one that was scrapped under the Biden administration. And if they don’t take the offer? Trump says another company will.
The former president took to his platform with a fiery statement:
“Our Country’s doing really well, and today, I was just thinking, that the company building the Keystone XL Pipeline that was viciously jettisoned by the incompetent Biden Administration should come back to America, and get it built — NOW! I know they were treated very badly by Sleepy Joe Biden, but the Trump Administration is very different — Easy approvals, almost immediate start! If not them, perhaps another Pipeline Company. We want the Keystone XL Pipeline built!”
This announcement marks a major shift in U.S. energy policy and could reignite tensions with environmental activists. However, for many, it represents a long-awaited opportunity to boost energy independence, create thousands of jobs, and strengthen U.S.-Canada relations. Some even speculate that this move could be an incentive for Canada to align even closer with the U.S.—perhaps even considering statehood.
With Trump at the helm, one thing is clear: major energy projects are back in business, and the Keystone XL Pipeline could soon be a reality once again.
