Senator Chuck Schumer just landed in the Senate with another wild accusation—this time claiming Donald Trump is behind recent plane crashes to fatten billionaires’ wallets. Yes, you read that right. According to Schumer, cutting FAA funding somehow translates to Trump intentionally crashing planes… because rich people need another tax break.
Here’s what Schumer actually said in his latest Senate speech:
“At a time when incidents in the air and on the runways in and out of our airports seem to be increasing, why would we cut the very people meant to prevent them?”
“Simple. Donald Trump and DOGE are doing it like they’re doing so much else, so they can help their billionaire buddies with another tax break.”

Let that sink in. Schumer is out here peddling the idea that Trump is orchestrating aviation disasters just to hand out tax cuts. The internet wasn’t having it. Furious commenters slammed Schumer’s absurd claims, calling out his desperate attempt to blame Trump for everything under the sun.
Why do we pay these people to stand in front of microphones and lie?
We are paying for this.
Instead of confirming Kash Patel or drafting meaningful legislation, he’s blatantly lying on your dime and mine.

This one is a pretty ridiculous lie.
It’s been refuted multiple times yet they keep running it anyway.
The Democrats are completely incapable of being honest with Americans.

It’s really unhinged, insidious stuff here: “Cutting waste is costing lives so billionaires can make more money.”
There is of course zero evidence to support any of these fraudulent claims.

One viral post summed it up perfectly: Schumer’s latest rant is nothing more than a whole lot of crazy.
And he’s not just pushing this nonsense in the Senate—he’s been plastering it all over X, where users wasted no time dismantling his argument. He got destroyed for it there, and now he’s doubling down in Congress.
Scott Jennings nailed it the other day: “The Trump doctrine of common sense is winning against the Democrats’ promotion of uncommon nonsense.”
Day after day, these outlandish attacks on Trump crash and burn moments after takeoff—because they’re just plain ridiculous.
I agree with Schumer 100 percent, all of the crashes did not start until the loss of employee that knew what to do and how to dispatch and follow where they are at all times, without them, it will be more and more people getting killed
