Donald Trump, the former president of the United States has had to deal with many things. He is facing four legal cases and is preparing for his presidential campaign in 2024. There is however one topic which seems to bother him at press events and during election campaigns, regarding Melania’s whereabouts.
There are reports from behind the scenes that her staff are becoming increasingly concerned by her continued absence.
It may be antiquated to have your spouse at your side in an election, but voters do notice. Donald Trump supporters probably would like to have Melania in the picture, even if it’s just for a small amount.
She was reported to be angry and wanted to stay away from politics and campaigning. Ron Filipkowski, a writer for MeidasTouch Network via Newsweek said that she wanted out of politics and to spend more time with her son. “I absolutely believe this is true.”
Melania Trump was absent for the entire trial and court hearings of her husband. Filipkowski said that it would be “a very bad look” if Melania didn’t show some support and get out in public.
Melania was last seen at an event in public in April, at the Mar-a-Lago Dinner. She also gave a brief interview to Fox News in May. Otherwise, Melania is staying away from the limelight.
Jane Owen, a PR specialist at the University of Washington in Seattle, believes it is a wise move by Melania Trump to avoid Donald Trump’s problems. She told Newsweek that the less Melania says or appears to support or oppose Donald Trump, the more she can maneuver.
If things don’t go well for Trump, then she will still be relatively unharmed and have enough star power left to charge a good fee for endorsements or appearances.
Owen thinks Melania Trump is “a savvy woman” who knows the power of being in the spotlight and is not interested in Donald Trump’s desire for power. She is content with her private life.
